Azlina Ashar joined MMC Corporation Berhad as the Head of Group Corporate Communications in August 2015. Prior to joining MMC, she was attached with UEM Group Berhad and subsequently appointed as the Head of Corporate Communications of UEM Builders Berhad. Azlina began her career with Sapura Holdings Berhad and held various positions within the organisation particularly in international marketing, branding, media relations, government relations and strategic communications.
Azlina has served in numerous industries ranging from engineering and construction, telecommunications, highways, ICT, retail and healthcare. She holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, United Kingdom and a Degree in Bachelor of Commerce from University of Saskatchewan, Canada.
Azlina does not hold any directorship in any public companies and listed companies.
