MMC Smart Circle Programme
MMC Smart Circle Programme, aimed at empowering students with knowledge and inculcate good reading habits to increase their intellectual capacity and prepare them for examinations.
Under this programme, the Group support programmes related to education through initiatives such as providing new school libraries, contributing reading materials, English training classes and many more.
EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
At MMC, we continue to play a key role in the communities that we serve to help enhance the quality of their education. Our employees are given various opportunities to engage in volunteerism through some of our projects, working together and reaching out to enhance the social and economic well-being of those around us. We have made good progress thus far and we will continue our efforts to build a better future for those who live in the communities where we operate, nationwide.
MMC Back-to-school
MMC Back-to-School is an initiative by the Group, focusing on assisting underprivileged children with their school supplies such as school uniforms, shoes, stationaries and school bag.
English Development Programme
English Development programme is an initiative by MMC Group for Secondary School students. The English Development Programme consists of three phases, English Tutorial Class, English Communications Workshop and Mini Choral Speaking Competition. Among the areas include Gelang Patah, Johor by Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP).
Malakoff “Jom Sarap” Programme
The Jom Sarap programme by Malakoff Corporation Berhad provided students with nutritious breakfasts to improve their focus in class and to encourage them to come early to school. To date, a total of 953 students from seven different primary schools located in Mukim Serkat, Pontian, Johor benefited from this initiative.
