MMC Smart Circle Programme

MMC’s Smart Circle Programme empower students with diverse knowledge and inculcating good reading habits to nurture young individuals’ intellectual capacity as well as enhancing their educational learning experience. We aim at improving the quality of life and socio-economic outcomes for the communities that we operate.


The Group supports educational programmes through initiatives, such as providing new school libraries, contributing to reading materials, conducting English-language classes, tuitions and many more.

EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT


At MMC, we consistently and collaboratively are involved in the communities that we serve to help enhance the quality of their education. Our employees are given various opportunities to engage in volunteerism through some of our projects, working together towards enhancing the social and economic well-being of those around us. We have made good progress in innovative educational initiatives as well as continuing our efforts to build a better future for generations to come.


MMC Back-to-school

MMC’s Back-to-School Programme focuses on assisting underprivileged children with their school supplies (such as school uniforms, shoes, stationaries, school bags, workbooks and other basic necessities) and preparing them for the new school academic year.


Through this programme, the Group hopes in bringing an impactful positive change to underprivileged students and preparing them for the new academic year.



English Development Programme

English Development Programme is another initiative by MMC Group that primarily dedicates towards improving and supporting secondary school students’ English-language skills. This development programme notably consists of three distinctive phases which are English Tutorial Classes, English Communication Workshops as well as Mini Choral Speaking Competitions.


The programme is conducted within the area of Gelang Patah, Johor by Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP). The Group acknowledges the importance of creating an improved communication with English and developing a greater self-confidence for young individuals.



Malakoff “Jom Sarap” Programme

Malakoff’s ‘Jom Sarap’ Programme commits in providing students with nutritious breakfasts to improve their focus throughout their learning and encourage essential nutrients that are required for good health. To date, primary school students from various locations such as Mukim Serkat, Pontian District, Johor have gained benefits from this initiative.


By organising this programme, the Group emphasises in healthier eating for young individuals and getting the habit of having a kickstart to their metabolism for the day.
